Packaging Policy
We take extraordinary care to ensure your handcrafted bansuri arrives in perfect, pristine condition.
At Ravi Flutes, we understand that a bamboo bansuri is a delicate and precious instrument. Our multi-layer packaging system is designed to protect every flute from the moment it leaves our workshop until it reaches your hands — wherever you are in the world.
Hard PVC Tube Protection
Each flute is first placed inside a rigid PVC pipe or hard cardboard tube that matches the flute's length. This primary casing ensures the flute cannot bend, snap, or deform under any external pressure during transit.
Bubble Wrap Cushioning
The sealed PVC tube is then wrapped in multiple layers of premium bubble wrap. This provides a shock-absorbing cushion to protect the flute against vibrations, impacts, and rough handling during courier processing.
Outer Cardboard Box
The bubble-wrapped tube is then placed inside a sturdy, corrugated cardboard box with additional padding material. The box is securely sealed with strong packaging tape and clearly labelled for safe handling.
Moisture & Weather Protection
For international shipments or during monsoon season, we add an extra moisture-resistant plastic wrap around the entire package to protect the bamboo from humidity and moisture damage during long-haul transit.
If your package arrives visibly damaged or tampered with, please photograph the outer packaging before opening and contact us immediately. We will arrange a replacement under our Return Policy.
